Is there really a ski club in Savannah, GA?
Yes...there is an active club in Savannah. This volunteer driven, non-profit organization was formed in the late 1960's and incorporated in 1971. The Savannah club is a member of the Crescent Ski Council, a group of 22 Southeastern ski clubs with almost 6000 members. The CSC sponsors 2-3 council wide trips each year and membership in our Savannah club allows you to participate in both those trips organized by the CSC as well as sister clubs' trips and activities.

Why should I join the club? Join the Savannah Ski & Adventure Club and meet people who enjoy snow skiing (or snowboarding) as much as you do, and who enjoy helping others learn to enjoy the sport. Learn about our trips and those sponsored by sister clubs in the Crescent organization. Members also receive quarterly alerts providing information on ski trips and other events planned by the club (e.g., river rafting trips, scuba trips, New York shopping/theater, oyster roasts, low-country boils, etc.).
How much does it cost? Yearly membership fees are $15 for a family membership and $10 for single membership. The membership year is September 1 to August 31. You can join by filling out a printed copy of our Membership Application and mailing it, along with your dues.
How can I save money on my next ski trip? You can do so by taking advantage of CSC group pricing.
How do I sign-up for ski trips? Each Summer, the club will announce trips for the year and we start booking at that time for the upcoming season. Deposits are required to secure participation.
How often are meetings held? Social meetings are held quarterly and often include other activities. We generally sponsor an oyster roast or low country boil, a miniature golf event, a kayak or rafting excursion or other alternate events to coincide with the meetings.
How will I know about meetings and where they will be held? Each member (single or family) will receive an email alert and a reminder to check this website prior to each meeting or special event.
Can I bring guests to meetings or outings? Yes, we welcome guests to our meetings and social events. However, only members may participate in trips (ski, rafting, scuba, beach weekends, etc.) or receive club discounts.
